Civil Society Coalition for African Continental Free Trade Area inaugurated
By means of introduction Civil Society Coalition for African Continental Free Trade Area (CSCAfCFTA) initiative is a Consortium of Civil Society Actors & Organizations that promotes the economic integration and growth of the African Continent through the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The Civil Society Coalition’s vision is to be at the forefront of grassroots involvement in AfCFTA and AU-related activities.
CSCAfCFTA, in addition plays a crucial role in engaging Civil Society Organizations, ensuring that their voices are heard in the context of AfCFTA, and facilitating their participation in policy discussions and initiatives. One of the key objectives of the Civil Society Coalition is to empower Civil Society Organizations to assert their role as actors for citizens’ voices to be heard under AfCFTA, by so doing, they contribute to the overall success of this ambitious trade agreement, which has the potential to transform the African continent’s economic landscape.
In addition, we promote the development and empowerment of young people in trade, support programmes at communities and grassroots level, e.g. skills and entreprenurship training for start-ups/SMEs and also advocate for the total rights and freedom of people doing business across the continent and beyond. In Civil Society Coalition For African Continental Free Trade Area, the overall objective is centered around and being carried out through some strategic designed Channels and Thematic Areas covering a wide-range of initiatives which we strategically plan and organize to promote, support and facilitate TRADE PROMOTION & INVESTMENTS BEYOND BOADERS
AfCFTA is a historic trade agreement among African Nations that seeks to create a single market for goods and services across the Continent for sustainable development. Civil Society Coalition For African Continental Free Trade Area, has its own leadership team which provides oversight responsibilities over each Directorate and Sector, but all is being supervised by the Founder and CEO of CSCAfCFTA, Dr. Prince Emmanuel Victor Brown to positively bring to pass the full dimensions of the Organization’s vision.
